Alma Mater is not just an educational institution, it is a second home that nurtures, guides, and shapes young minds with care and dedication. The school’s commitment to academic excellence is unwavering. providing a strong foundation that has empowered me to face the challenges of higher education and the professional world with confidence.
One of the standout features of my school is its holistic approach to education. The curriculum goes beyond textbooks, fostering a love for learning through a diverse range of extracurricular activities. Whether it was participating in inter-school competitions, science competitions, or cultural events, the school encouraged us to explore our interests and talents, shaping us into well-rounded individuals.
The teachers at Alma Mater Day Boarding School are not just educators, they are mentors and guides who invest time and effort in understanding each student’s unique strengths and weaknesses. Their dedication to imparting knowledge and instilling values has left an indelible mark on my character. The support and encouragement I received from my teachers have played a pivotal role in my personal and academic growth.

The well-equipped classrooms, library, laboratories, and sports facilities contribute to a comprehensive educational experience. The emphasis on discipline and a sense of responsibility instilled during my time at the school continues to serve as a guiding principle in my life. My school is a source of inspiration and a foundation on which I have built my aspirations and dreams (Al Square). I am proud to be an Almaterian, and I carry the lessons learnt and memories forged here with me on my life’s journey.

After spending 7 years with Alma Mater, I was confident enough to pursue my career in the field of my choice. Administrator, Capt R Dhingra and Principal, Mrs Poonam bring a wealth of experience in nurturing and caring of children. I have had some of my best days in Alma Mater and truly believe that this school is responsible for my overall development. Alma Mater has my highest recommendation as an institute and it has complete capability to play a key role in your child’s future.

To my teacher: If you would not be as my teacher in my preschool years, my life would be incredibly different. It doesn’t mean that it would be bad – but yes you all opened my eyes to see the world and let me know what I could do, what I could be, you moulded my thoughts and behaviour. You took a kid and made her want to see the world and beyond. I still remember every life lesson you all taught me You share you life experiences about your regrets, and your successes, and for some reason, it all resonated with me, and I started to realize that anything really is possible. I always remember you told me nothing is impossible… you always said ‘I am possible’… and i tried to prove your words. You have changed my perspectives of learning, I could not even imagine to be what I am today without you. Still unable to stop myself… have so much to say and express but must say your encouragement and persistence during my preschool and school years has taught me that I am who I am, I am capable, but it will take hard work and lots of dedication. I studied at Alma Mater till Seventh standard (year 2003) but I received a life time worth of knowledge and development during the mentioned period. The USP of this institution is its focus on all round development rather than just academics. मुझे अच्छे से याद है मेरा पहला दिन जब मैं घर की याद में खोया था। “मम्मी के पास जाना है” बोल दीदी से चिपक कर रोया था। वक्त के साथ इस स्कूल ने मुझे और मैंने इस स्कूल को इस तरह अपना लिया। घर से दिन भर दूर होकर भी घर जैसी खुशी को पा लिया।
दोस्त तब जो बने आज भी यार हैं, टीचर्स के लिए दिल में आज भी इज्ज़त और प्यार है मुकेश भैया के खाने को चखने का मन करता बार-बार है और ढींगरा सर के डंडे का खौफ आज भी बेशुमार है खाली गए थे हम इस स्कूल ने किया पूरा है। इसके जिक्र के बिना मेरा बचपन अधूरा है। हिन्दी-अंग्रेजी के साथ-साथ जीवन की भाषाओं का मिला जहाँ ज्ञान है।
अल्मा मेटर यह महज एक नाम नहीं मेरी पहचान है।

Alma Mater, where knowledge speaks for itself, where the curriculum framers envisage to instill values, civility and groom the students to outshine in a crowd of intellectuals. For the facilitators who believe knowledge is not just text, but life skills and innovation which is a potential in every student. The team works on that since every child is special and outstanding in his own ways. The potential is honed imparting confidence and support to pursue it. And that’s how I have felt ever since I passed out. I have been opportune to spend my most important years of life in an institution which taught me to groom myself for life and not for a rat- race. From sports, co-curriculars to academics I have gathered enough experience that I can’t quit without trying it after so many years, because I have once been into the same situation before. And I can do it again. Things learnt in childhood take you a long way than making experiments in your later age. Then why not balance your childhood with little of everything. I am really thankful to my school.
