Infrastructure

The school building is an epitome of architectural dexterity and speaks volumes of the aesthetic appeal. The splendid and imposing main building, painted in white colour, stands out on the western side of the estate. There are also rooms for various activities, and a well maintained games field.

Classrooms

Classrooms are properly ventilated, well-lit & spacious. Specially designed box tables & chairs, a set each for every child is provided in the classrooms. All classes are equipped with Smart Boards.

Laboratories

The School has 20 * 50 sq ft each well maintained Chemistry, Physics & Biology labs. PGTs ,lab assistants & attendants take utmost care in conducting relevant practical . Besides, Mathematics & Social Science Laboratories have also been developed. Language laboratory for the English Language is one if its kind in the city.

Computer Lab

Two well equipped computer laboratories one each for Primary and Senior Secondary with 56 computers networked on a Linux system. Comfortable seating arrangement for every student. Teachers and Instructors give individual attention to every students.

Library

An extensive library has been painstakingly developed & boasts of a wide collection of books, educational CDs & projections. The Library is equipped with scores of reference books on subjects varying from Literature to History to Sciences, Astronomy, Astrology & all allied subjects.

Dance & Music

A large hall reverberates with the sound of ghungroos as boys and girls are initiated into classical Indian dancing particularly Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Odissi. Modern dance forms like Jazz, Hip hop are also initiated.

Art & Craft

A large low table surrounded by benches all around provides comfortable seating to the students in the Art Room. Facilities are available for them to learn various arts and crafts, painting, drawing, batik, tie and dye, photography, printing (block / roller/screen), knitting, embroidery, etc.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool at Alma Mater is 25*10 mtr. & the school boasts of the first institution having a swimming pool. Our half Olympic pool is a favourite in the city. It was opened in March 2003, as the first swimming pool in a school in Bareilly.

Sports

The School gives great importance to physical fitness & uses both the ancient system of Yoga & the modern system of Aerobics & Gymnastics. The School also prides itself in having one of the finest teams in Taekwondo, Swimming, Cricket, Football, Athletics, Lawn Tennis, Basketball, etc. The School runs a unique fitness programme which entails postural diagnosis, rectification of defects & building up strength, speed, flexibility & neuro co-ordination.

Mess Arrangement

Breakfast & Lunch is provided to students of classes I to VIII (Day Boarding) only. The food given is prepared in the school mess managed by a Mess Manager assisted by a kitchen supervisor. Healthy and wholesome food is served. The menu is prepared in consultation with a dietician (full- time dietician appointed in the school). We cater food that is comparable with home food. Nutritional value of food is the basis for catering to the children’s taste and only vegetarian food is served. Fruit forms a rich supplement to the daily diet, which is provided everyday to the Day Boarding students at break time (11am).
