Ms. Parul Dhingra, B.Com (Hons), MBA, B.Ed
Parul serves as the Principal of the Kindergarten at Alma Mater School, where she leads with a strong belief in child-centred early education. Under her guidance, the kindergarten has evolved into a vibrant learning space that follows a child-led curriculum, emphasising activity-based, hands-on learning supported by practical experiences and regular excursions.
Born in Kanpur, Parul earned her B.Com (Hons) degree followed by an MBA from Delhi, after which she gained valuable experience in the marketing industry. Her transition into education was driven by passion, purpose and a deep interest in understanding young learners.
She holds a B.Ed, NTT, a Phonics qualification, along with several certifications in child psychology, early childhood education, and learning-through-play methodologies. These professional training programmes enable her to understand the developmental needs of young children and create joyful, meaningful learning environments for them.
At Alma Mater School, Parul brings a warm vision and a progressive approach to early education—ensuring that every learner discovers, explores, and grows at their own natural pace.
Mr. Shubhendu Dutta, B Sc, MA, B Ed.
The Principal, Mr. Shubhendu Dutta basically belongs to Bengal, was brought up amidst the nature of Himalayan Valley, Nainital. After completing Bachelor in Science he achieved Master Degree in Economics & History from Rohilkhand & DSB campus Nainital. He got an opportunity to represent India in the International Seminar on Teacher’s Training held at the ‘AHARON OFRI’ International Training Center Jeruslam, ISRAEL organized by Ministry of Education & Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel.
Besides academic excellence he has been gifted with innumerable talents. He has a Diploma & Prabhakar Degree in Fine Arts & Indian Classical Dance. He got Governor’s Award in Scouts & presently working as Regional Vice President with Hindustan Scout & Guides.
Apart from this, he also bagged Broad Outlook Learner Teacher’s Award by Air India; Best Teacher Award by District Culture Association; Golden Teachers awarded by ANA Group of Institutions and many such awards. He is also an active participant in social causes around the world, including Help Age India.
Almaterians vouch their gratitude to Mr. Shubhendu Dutta & know that he shell continue to serve Alma Mater till post posterity.
By qualification she is MA, B Ed. and has been awarded in the fields of Education, Environment & Social Services.

Mr. Pratyaksh Dhingra, BE (Hons), MBA
Director of a niche Secondary School founded in 1988. Pratyaksh was born in India, raised in the very institution he is now heading and spent years working and studying in Dubai and London; his work reflects these eclectic influences. His portfolio includes a string of high profile projects consulting in the UAE across semi-government, government and other sectors.
An Engineering Graduate of the BITS, Pilani – Dubai with a Masters degree in Global Business Management (MBA) from Manchester Business School, UK, he is also an ISO Lead Auditor and a trained risk professional.
Pratyaksh was previously employed with a global consultancy and he also worked for the Government of Dubai before coming back to India. He has now joined the Alma Mater Group Schools bringing in new energy and vision into the school.
He passed out as First in order of Merit to be commissioned in the “Regiment of Artillery”.
At school too he has been the best all rounder, good in academics and also a good sportsman and represented at regional, state and national levels. He did his B.Sc. from Delhi University and Masters from Rohilkhand University.
He is a Permanent member of Bareilly Club Ltd, Bareilly and life member of Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi. He has been awarded for distinguished services in the field of education.
